QV Foods, were extremely pleased to hail the continued success of the bi-annual Potato Demo. Once again held at the Yorkshire Convention Centre, Harrogate, QV produce a stand promoting their "Best of British" strategy.
Vividly designed, with eye catching union jacks & imagery it provided a resplendent platform for QV to meet growers, suppliers, customers & friends from around the Potato industry.
With representatives from QV's Procurement & Field teams being supported by colleagues from Sales & Marketing, interested parties were able to discuss all aspects of the business in more detail.
Offering a range of food & beverages throughout the day, QV were only too pleased to play host at such an important event in the Potato calendar.
For some additional fun, the final of the first ever QV Chef of the Year competition was held on stand on the first day of the show. The three finalists, Alistair Redpath, Steve Green & David Storer, each took a turn to cook their individual dishes & judged by a panel consisting of QV's chairman Duncan Worth, Managing Director Mike Rimmer & Development Chef Claire Harrison - David Storer from QV's Norfolk operation was crowned Chef of the Year 2011.
QV also used these two days, to showcase their new corporate DVD, which can now be found on the QV Foods website www.qvfoods.com
Commenting on the event Sales & Marketing Director Simon Martin added "Once again a fantastic effort from the QV team, our stand has been extremely busy throughout the show & it has been great to see so many familiar faces - both new & old.
